Freddy's Bid Barn is a new Android app. Before it can go on Google Play, Google needs 12 testers in its closed test for 14 days in a row. 5 of 15 testers are in so far.
What you do: join with your Google account, install the app, use it on different days during the 14 days, check in three times with a short answer and a screenshot, and write a short report from day 10.
Paid from the pot: the testers who join a Google Play test this month share $300. Stay all 14 days, do the three check-ins and send your report: you get 20 points, plus 5 for each star your report gets. The pot is shared by points (at most 10 % each) and paid to your balance on the 21st of next month.
This is also your qualification test. When your report gets 3 stars or more and you've stayed the 14 days, you can join paid tests, from $3.80 a report.
About Freddy's Bid Barn
Post an old or new item with a starting price and a closing date and time. People bid instead of sending you a pile of messages. Bids must meet the starting price first, then rise by at least $1. When the clock runs out, the highest bidder wins, and both sides see each other's contact details to arrange pickup and cash in hand. When shared mode is on, lots, bids and locations are stored in a shared database, so every phone using this link sees the same auctions. Lots posted on one phone before v13 will not appear in shared mode — post them again once in v13. If shared mode is off, the app falls back to showing only this phone's lots, and a banner says so. Contact details are never shown in the member list, and after an auction ends they are only shared with the winner and the seller.
