Beta testing iOS apps

Beta testing iOS apps used to be a hassle. Before iOS 4, the apps needed to be transferred via iTunes. Today applications can be downloaded directly over the air with just one click. Al l you need is the testers’ UDID-numbers. The UDID (Unique Device Identifier) is a unique ID number for iOS devices. It's a 40 digit sequence of numbers and letters. The AdHoc (iOS beta application) is an .ipa-file, which should include all the testers UDID-numbers. Apple has a maximum limit of 100 UDID numbers per account and year.

Beta Family helps you to find high quality testers and collect their UDIDs. When begin your test, an e-mail with a downloadable link is instantly sent to the testers. After the testing period, the tester will give feedback on the application on a questionnaire about Graphics and Sound, Usability, Bugs and errors and more.
