Amalgam 2.0 Test
Amalgam is a social word game in which players take turns adding letters to an evolving word fragment. The objective is to add a letter that continues a word fragment but does not complete it; a completed word fragment is any valid word longer than three letters.A player can lose either by adding a letter that completes a word or by losing a “Hex”.A “Hex” can be used when a player believes the current word fragment does not exist. The last player to add a letter will be asked to complete a valid word with the current word fragment. If the last player succeeds in completing a valid word, the player who issued the “Hex” will lose. Otherwise, the player who was “Hexed” loses. The player who completes a word or loses a “Hex” loses the round and a life. If a player runs out of lives they are eliminated. The last player still in the game wins.
