Bit:Mob is a whole new way to communicate using your smart phone. GPS assisted radius messaging lets you set the radius of your personal communications cloud from as close as 50 meters, to as far as 5 KM from your location and send multimedia messages to all users within the radius. You can also use the radius screen to navigate to other users, or to anyplace nearby. With SHOUTOUT enabled, you and your friends can display your usernames on other users display screen. This is a great way to precisely locate friends in public venues like sports stadiums, train stations or anywhere there's a crowd. Our MULTISOCIAL platform lets you experience the unification of messaging and social networking on one screen, and send your messages out to your FACEBOOK and TWITTER friends simultaneously. You can also control your social network feeds in from INSTAGRAM, GOOGLE PLUS and TWITTER. Bit:Mob includes direct AND group messaging screens, ALL of your Bit:Möb, social and phone contacts plus a shareable local events feed. And, you can REMOB messages from the main feed to any user in your radius, to your social networks, or out to any group you’re a member of. Your social contacts are available on the contacts screen as soon as you log with your social networks, and you can invite any of them to join the conversation by downloading Bit:Mob. BATTERY LIFE Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. To track your activity in the background on the iPhone 4, 4S, 5 and 5c, Bitmob can help you keep track of your location if you elect to turn on your location services.. We've gone to great lengths to minimize battery use and make sure your charge still lasts all day, but there's no getting around some impact on your battery. *** A note on location *** Bitmob needs access to your location (in the background) in order to send Bitmob RADIUS messages from around you. If Bitmob doesn't update while it's in the background, please open the Settings app and go to Privacy -> Location Services. Make sure that you have enabled Location Services for Bitmob -- this should resolve the issue. Thanks!
