Hi, welcome to the qWhereAmI testing family

qWhereAmI Offline! is an offline reverse geocoder currently in alpha testing phase. qWhereAmI takes the coordinates that your device gives it and returns a textual representation of where you are at, such as "Chicago, Illinois." The application gives real time updates on your coordinates, bearing, altitude and a time based update of your current city/state[province, etc.]. Almost all of these components can be enabled or disabled based on your preferences. Also included is a Daydream (screensaver) that reports the same information as the application, but randomly moves around the screen to prevent screen burn. This is a great feature for folks that drive a lot, and have their devices in a dock or plugged in all the time. After your device has been plugged in for a bit, the screensaver pops up and your data is all right there. Because it's offline, you can use this application without a data connection, as long as the device your using has GPS or network location enabled. This would make it handy as a permanently mounted unit in your vehicle. Please note, although the application will run just fine offline, the first time you run it you must have a data connection so that it can verify that it's a Google Play licensed application.
