GatherMe is a social real-time group photo event application that allows users to create or join the same event with multiple participants, and to share the photos in one big album The application concept is based on LBS (location base, GPS) to locate users participating in the same event and connect them in a live photo album of the event. All users at the same event share the same live photo album, whether or not they have an online social relationship. The concept of today's social network flow is from the individual to the general. GatherMe works with a rather different approach. There is a huge need to bring together all users at the same event, to allow them to share pictures and experiences from that event, even though all the participants aren't necessarily connected to one other,. Users can experience images through other people’s eyes at the event, and can view images taken at a variety of different angles. Users can find pictures of themselves from the event, even if they have no social relationship with those who photographed them, and without having to tag any of the people in the pictures. GatherMe allows you to find a live photo album event in your location; then you just click "join the event" and start looking at the pictures that have already been taken, and start taking pictures of your own that will automatically be uploaded to the live photo album of the event. At the end of the event, GatherMe allows you to upload the entire photo album, or just part of it, to any social network site you choose, easily and simply. Users who are far away from the event can view all live event photos from anywhere around the world, and share, like, comment or follow users from different events.
