Things@ is an android app allowing location based reminders as well as additional services such as quick bookmarking of geo locations for navigation. What are location based reminders? Instead of reminding you at a certain time, such as an alarm clock this kind of reminder reminds you when you are at a certain location. So you could create a new kind of reminders such as: Remind me to buy the cat food when I’m at the supermarket, remind me on the lunch break when I’m still in the office at 5 minutes to 12, etc. I came up to write this app because everything I have found so far on the market is either not working properly and / or wasting the battery. Or doing weird things, e. g. turning GPS on while your mobile is in your pocket. Additionally it makes no sense if you got reminded miles away from the desired spot. The idea was to implement an app for location based reminders, that: • works properly • works exactly • does not waste battery power • is easy to use Some testers noted, that the app cannot be downloaded - no download link available.
