A true gesture keyboard, the FlicBoard, recognizes a unique gesture for each character or shift. It has been demonstrated at over 40 words per minute. The gestures are simple and easy to perform. A few one finger gestures, consisting of simple taps and swipes, are used in combination with one, two, or three fingers to allow a distinct gesture for each character or shift.
