Holla@Me is a new social networking service that emulates the process of building one’s contact/friend network in real life. It allows basic interactions, meeting, connecting, staying in touch and gradually developing relationships using a variety of basic concepts universal to most cultures: strolling down the street/neighborhood, waving, saying “hello” – hollaring and starting a conversation, getting to know people before eventually becoming friends with some of them, not through friend requests but based on how often you interact with them/share common interests, as you would in real life…all this wrapped in modern-day technology.
